Spot Trace anti-theft tracking device

by

ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles and boats are prime targets for thieves. Although nothing can ensure you won’t get robbed, you can improve your odds with the new Spot Trace.

Released on November 14, 2013, Spot Trace is an anti-theft alert tracking device that uses the Globalstar satellite to keep a 24-hour watch on your assets. You can monitor your vehicle’s location on your computer or smartphone and if the vehicle is moved, the Spot Trace will immediately alert you via email or text message. You can even track your vehicle’s whereabouts in near real time using Google Maps.

The Spot Trace will also send you a notification when its batteries are getting low but that shouldn’t be too often since the batteries are designed to last up to 18 months. The device also comes with a dock mode for assets that are stored on the water. It is also programmed to send you a notification if the device is powered off and a daily status message to let you know your asset is secure.

For more information, see the Spot website.
