One of the newest action sports cameras on the market, the WASPcam (WASP stands for Wide Angle Sports Photography) is a versatile and easy-to-use camera that is capable of recording high definition videos in either 1080p, 960p or 720p and shooting still photos in up to five megapixel resolution.
Small and compact, the WASPcam does not have an LCD viewing screen like some of the other cameras on the market. Instead, it comes with a cool app called ActionCam!, which allows the user to stream and record live videos right on their smartphone.
A variety of accessories are available for the WASPcam—including a wireless wrist remote that is capable of controlling the camera from up to 50 feet away.
Another cool feature of the WASPcam is that it is Canadian-made. And it’s waterproof right out of the box.
