On July 27, 2016, Bryan Hudgin, National Marketing Manager for Yamaha Motor Canada announced that Joel Basaraba has been appointed to the position as new Marketing Coordinator for Yamaha Canada with specialization in ATV, SSV and Snowmobile Product groups.

“His face may be familiar, as prior to this position Joel was working as a marketing events coordinator with us. Joel will be an integral part in all things marketing for those product groups,” stated Bryan Hudgin, National Marketing Manager at Yamaha Motor Canada.

“I have no doubt Joel will draw on his ATV racing (Team Toyota Yamaha) and long-time snowmobile riding experience to help him do the best job possible for Yamaha,” he added.

Recently it was also announced that Toronto would be the new North American Snowmobile Division headquarters for Yamaha.  The Toronto office would take the lead in managing Yamaha’s worldwide snowmobile business, including product development, business planning, and marketing. The objective is to bring greater focus to North America by increasing speed of product development, improving coordination and efficiencies with industry partners, and better research and product planning decisions due to closer proximity to the market.
