RidersWest: Saddle up, partner, with these practical safety tips every ATVer can use

“Watch out!”

Those are usually the last words heard before a disaster. Fortunately, you’re looking at an electronic device and not about to collide with a fellow ATVer. That could be trouble. Heed these words from four respected club presidents and directors as they give us their take on how to keep safe while riding ATVs on and off the trails.

Western Canadian ATV AGMs and Rides:

Event season is upon us. ATVers are stoked to meet and mingle with their fellow club members once again. There are a couple of provincial Annual General Meetings (AGMs) that are taking place this month. The Saskatchewan All Terrain Vehicle Association (SATVA) AGM is happening this Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Wascana Pistol Club in Regina. The ATVBC AGM and Poker Ride is later this month, from June 28 to July 3, 2023, at Princeton, B.C.’s Kettle Valley Rail Trail (KVR).
