EZ Series track conversion kits from Mattracks

by

We spotted the new EZ Series track conversion kits from Mattracks at a recent powersports show in Montana, and this prompted us to take a closer look.

Released in October 2013, the EZ Series track conversion kits are designed for ATVs, UTVs and vehicles weighing up to 5,500 pounds (2,495 kilograms). They feature a unique shape that allows for greater contact on the ground and increased clearance for fenders and vehicle body parts. Mattracks says the new design also provides greater sprocket engagement that far exceeds any other system in the industry.

Unlike other track kits from Mattracks, however, the EZ Series is constructed with a steel frame instead of aluminum and it utilizes the vehicle’s suspension rather than its own internal suspension. The EZ Series is also one of the most affordable track systems on the market.

“Perfection doesn’t have to come at a price, said Glen Brazier, CEO of Mattracks in a press release. It’s the shape of things to come.”

At the show, Mattracks had two kits on display—the EZ UTV and the EZ HD. Both seemed well built to handle any kind of adverse terrain, from dirt, sand and rocks to mud, snow and ice.
