Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) returns to its roots with the new 2014 Sea-Doo Spark.
When they first came out, PWCs were small, agile and affordable and over the years, they’ve become more of a luxury item than an alternative to a full-size boat. Well, BRP finally recognized that and decided to offer an entry-level PWC that families and young couples can enjoy.
Sporting an all-new Exoskel architecture made from durable and recyclable Polytec material, the Spark is lightweight, nimble, fun to ride and easy to tow. Powered by BRP’s new Rotax 900 ACE in-line three-cylinder, the Spark is capable of reaching speeds of 40 miles per hour or 50 miles per hour, depending on the model.
The Spark is available in both two-up and three-up configurations. There is a wide assortment of colour choices as well—from bright yellow, orange and pink to the more conservative grey and white. Owners can also personalize their Spark with accessories like fenders, a knee-friendly step or an extra storage bin.
