2015 Arctic Cat Wildcat Sport

by

Compromise is a term that Arctic Cat is unfamiliar with, especially this year. With the release of 15 new ATV and side-by-side models for 2015, "Team Green" is looking to cater to every rider out there.

It’s the side-by-side lineup, though, that we want to talk about, and specifically the new Wildcat Sport that was just unveiled at a September 8, 2014, dealer meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

First, a little history. The original 65-inch-wide Wildcat was introduced in 2012, and two years later it got a little brother, the 50-inch-wide Wildcat Trail. Arctic Cat obviously felt there was a void needing to be filled, so this year, it came out with the 60-inch Wildcat Sport, which fits nicely between its older brothers.

The new 2015 Wildcat Sport is powered by the same 700-class powerplant as the Wildcat Trail models but the Sport benefits from race-inspired upgrades, such as JRi ECX-1 compression adjustable shocks and a power sport digital gauge.

The Wildcat Sport is the base package, and the Wildcat Sport XT, which features automotive-style paint, is the next step up in the lineup. Then there’s the Wildcat Sport Limited EPS, which is the top-of-the-line model. It comes with electronic power steering, Elka Stage 5 shocks, automotive-style paint and full aluminum doors.
