Trail riders, hunters, farmers and everyone else who loves the Polaris Ranger XP 900 for its versatility will be delighted to know that for 2015, it comes with 13 per cent more horsepower.
This vehicle, which was originally released for model year 2013, is powered by a ProStar 900 engine that has been recalibrated. This new high-output powerplant now delivers a claimed 68 horsepower—enough to tip the scales in the Ranger XP 900’s favour for class-leading torque.
As far as looks go, the 2015 Polaris Ranger XP 900 comes with redesigned headrests and new driver and passenger side nets. As well, there are several new colour schemes to choose from. Electronic power steering is an option for the 2015 Polaris Ranger XP 900.
Similar changes were made to the multi-passenger Polaris Ranger Crew 900. The 2015 version did not benefit from a horsepower gain, though. It still bears the 60-horsepower ProStar 900 engine, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it were to receive an upgrade next year.
