B.C. licence plate mount for ATVs

Licence plate mount on an ATV.

The rules have just changed for off-road vehicle use on public land in B.C. Now, all ATVs are required by law to be registered and display a number plate on the vehicle. Easier said than done. How do you mount a licence plate with a sharp metal edge on an ATV that wasn’t designed for it? Drill holes in the plastic? There has got to be an alternative.

And there is. Canadian Fleet Systems in Maple Ridge, B.C., makes an aluminum backing plate that is designed just for B.C. off-road vehicle plates. These backing plates are made in B.C. and they come with two clamps, screws, washers and nuts—everything you need to mount your new licence plate on your ATV.
