High Lifter’s new Gear Lift kit line for UTVs

by

Want to add four inches of ground clearance to your side-by-side without sacrificing its horsepower and overall performance? High Lifter Products Inc. just released a new Gear Lift line of lift kits for UTVs designed to do just that.

The new kits feature a bolt-on design that utilizes a portal box at the wheel hub, which moves the axle centre line up four inches to provide extra clearance. It does this without affecting any factory suspension angles, so you won’t need to purchase extra aftermarket axle upgrades, and your machine will still ride and handle much like it did when it was stock.

What really sets these kits apart, though, is their built-in gear reduction. By utilizing three one-inch heat-treated steel gears, the kits provide a 1:1.4 gear reduction—which is about 30 per cent—to increase torque and regain the horsepower that often gets lost when adding a lift and bigger tires.

Right now, the High Lifter Gear Lift kits are available for the Polaris Ranger 800 and 900, the Polaris RZR 800 and 1000, the Can-Am Commander 1000 and the Can-Am Maverick 1000. According to High Lifter’s press release, more models will be added to the line in the future.

High Lifter Products Inc. is based in Shreveport, Louisiana. Its products are sold online and they are available through dealers in Canada as well. For more information, see the company’s website
