Your goosebumps are about to get goosebumps, says Kawasaki Canada, as it releases the 2015 Special Anniversary editions of the Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R, both available with or without ABS.

It was 30 years ago that the Kawasaki 600 Ninja revolutionized the market with the invention of the 600 cc supersport segment, which remains one of the world’s benchmark performance classes.

Fast-forward three decades, and the ZX-10R and ZX-6R are keeping the spirit alive with the ultimate expression of the Ninja’s “Forever Fearless” attitude.

Building on the current ZX-6R platform, the 2015 edition promises Supersport performance with a 636 cc inline-four for racetrack-ready power and extremely flexible delivery on the street.

Three-mode KTRC traction control puts the power to the pavement whether it’s dry and grippy or rain-slick, and the Showa Separate Function Fork-Big Piston offers lightweight, easy adjustability and smoother initial suspension tracking.

Same goes for the ZX-10R, which, according to Kawasaki, is the most tuneable, rider-friendly and sophisticated production superbike the company has ever produced. The four-stroke, liquid-cooled DOHC engine promises jaw-dropping performance and linear power delivery when paired with the slim, rider-inspired chassis.

Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control keeps an eye on wheel speed, throttle position, engine RPM and other tractors to secure just the right amount of traction, and the ABS models also monitor a wide range of data to enhance rider control. Horizontal back-link rear suspension helps deliver smooth suspension action with the result that the bike will hug the road under all kinds of pavement conditions.
