Your old backpack may be just fine for when you are cruising around town or riding to the corner store on your motorcycle but get out on the open road and those jangling zippers and flapping straps can wreak havoc on your ride. For that reason, Ogio International Inc. has created a series of aerodynamic backpacks to meet the unique needs of motorcycle riders.

Available in three different styles, the No Drag Mach series of packs are designed to prevent wind drag and enhance riding performance. They feature a single-shot, high-grade moulded exterior design that is exclusive to Ogio. The company says the packs will not deform from wind shear and they are built to withstand intense water exposure.

To increase aerodynamics and rider comfort, the packs have a unique shoulder gasket that conforms to the rider’s body. They also feature a removable hip belt with an off-centre attachment to prevent scratching of a bike’s frame and fuel tank. Inside the packs are protective storage compartments with elastic closures for a laptop with a 15-inch screen as well as shoe and hydration compartments, organizer panels and a deluxe back panel.

Additional features on the No Drag Mach 5, which is the deluxe model, include premium graphite graphic treatment on the outer shell with reflective safety piping, a padded interior helmet visor sleeve and high-visibility red interior lining.
