PIAA’s RF Series LED light bars for UTVs

by

PIAA Corporation just released its new line of RF Series LED light bars, and according to the company, they are different than any other light bar out there. How? Reflector Facing Technology or RFT.

With RFT, the LED bulbs, which are faced rearward, shine off a computer-designed multi-surface reflector. The result is a very concentrated, precise beam of light. RF Series LED light bars also utilize the latest Cree LED chips, which are designed for high brightness and low power consumption. Cree LED chips are used by other automotive lighting companies, but with RFT, PIAA says it can use fewer of them in its light bars to produce the same or greater light output.

The RF Series LED light bars come in three different sizes—six inch, 10 inch and 18 inch—and according to Justin MacLaughlan, who is the branch manager for PIAA, they are easy to install.

“Our RF Series light bars also feature a modular design that allows them to be linked together to suit a wide variety of sizes for virtually any application,” said MacLaughlan in a press release. “Installation is simple with our pre-assembled wiring harness, and these light bars can be mounted on bumpers, roof racks, roll bars or any other convenient surface.”
