Whether it be for farming, recreating or some other purpose, side-by-sides have been growing in popularity. The trend looks to continue beyond 2019. Off-road customers aren’t the only ones excited about the upcoming season—powersports store owners, sales staff and others within the industry are equally stoked about the potential of UTVs. To help find the right machine for you, we asked ATV dealers across Western Canada about their most popular side-by-sides and what trends they see coming on the horizon. Here’s what one of them had to say about Yamahas.

What is your most popular/best-selling side-by-side?

The new Yamaha 850 Wolverine has been a real hit.

Why do you think that is?

It’s got a new motor. They updated to an 850 motor. It’s got an incredible ride to it. The Japanese fit and finish have always been known for being well-built and solid.

What current or upcoming product are you excited about?

I’m a real fan of the new Yamaha Star Venture TC. That’s the new touring bike put out by Yamaha. We’ve been waiting several years for it.

What’s so special about this one?

Everything. It’s got heated seats and grips, electric windshield, reverse, lots of bag storage, five-year warranty, navigation, it goes on and on. It’s a beautiful touring bike.
