Turbospoke bicycle exhaust system for kids

An exhaust system that attaches to the rear wheel of a pedal bike.

If your kids are begging and pleading for you to buy them a dirt bike, but they’re just not ready for one, here’s a great gift that might appease them for a while: Turbospoke.

Made by a company in Ireland, Turbospoke is a motorcycle-style exhaust system that attaches to your kid’s pedal bike to make it sound like a real motocross bike. No batteries are required as the sound is generated by a thin, plastic moto card that is held against the spokes of the wheel. Think of it as a tricked-out version of when you were a kid and you put baseball cards in the spokes of your bike. Turbospoke is way better, though, as the sound is amplified by the exhaust pipe, and it changes with speed.

Turbospoke installs in five minutes and it comes with three different moto cards, which can be tuned to create up to six unique motorcycle engine sounds. The cards are waterproof and long lasting. Eventually, they will wear out, but replacement cards are easy to get and affordable. For more information, see the Turbospoke website.
