7 new bikes to see at the 2017 Vancouver Motorcycle Show

The best in bikes will be found at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show, which takes place January 20 to 22, 2017 at Tradex.

Among all of the exciting and interactive events occurring at this year's Vancouver Motorcycle Show, the heart and soul of the show are the brand new motorcycle features. Guest will not be disappointed with the amazing selection of both 2017 models from beloved brands, such as Yamaha, BMW and Suzuki. 

The Tradex in Abbotsford will house all of these beautiful bikes from January 20th to the 22nd and show manager Laurie Paetz is thrilled to unveil the new motorcycles to guests.

“The 2017 models are proving to be some of the most innovative and exciting ones we have had at our show to date—you won’t want to miss this,” said Paetz.

The 2017 Vancouver Motorcycle Show will feature the latest gear, motorcycle giveaways, live demonstrations, exciting exhibitors and more; this is the perfect event for new motorcycle lovers and experienced connoisseurs alike.

Street 750

Roadster™

Shaped by nearly 60 years of heritage and stripped to the essential elements of a pure riding machine, in 2016 the Harley-Davidson Roadster joined the Dark Custom lineup with a minimalist design inspired by classic racing motorcycles and current trends in stripped-down, naked custom bikes.

Fat Bob®

2018 GSX-S750 ABS

The All New GSX-S750 inherits its heart and soul from Suzuki’s MotoGP race experience and a 37-year heritage dating back to the launch of the original GSX model in 1980. The GSX-S750 is the only model in the class powered by a super sport power unit taken from the GSX-R750K5, and features aggressive styling and a look of quality worthy of the GSX-S family. 2018 GSX250R

The new GSX250R is a fully faired street machine that brings the excitement and riding satisfaction of Suzuki’s sportbike heritage to a broader audience. It features sporty good looks, responsive yet easy-to-control performance with a broad power band, nimble handling, class leading fuel efficiency and a comfortable riding position; the GSX250R is equally at home on the daily commute as it is when touring for long distances. 2017 YZF-R6

Keeping on the throttle, Yamaha releases the most anticipated model of 2017. Filled with R-DNA, the newly redesigned YZF-R6 shares performance and styling from the YZF-R1M and YZF-R1. Performance highlights for the new YZF-R6 include six-mode traction control system, YZF-R1-based KYB front suspension and front brakes, which includes ABS with larger 320-mm dual front discs, newly designed KYB piggyback rear shock, Yamaha’s D-Mode system, aluminum fuel tank, slimmer magnesium rear subframe, and optional Quick Shift System.

G310R

The G310R is the first product offering in the sub-500-cc category and lays the groundwork for a new model family by BMW Motorrad.
