Endurocross is in the air. Couer d'Alene, Idaho’s MRP Promotions organizes a great series that is well organized and well attended by competitors and spectators alike. With back-to-back weekends, starting in Kalispell, Montana, June 29 and 30, 2012, Shane Cuthbertson of Airdrie, Alberta, and his TE 300 had a great weekend in Kalispell.
Riding in both Pro 1 and Pro 2, with each evening comprised of 10-lap heats qualifying into main events, Shane rode 40 laps Friday night, finishing third in his first main and winning his second main. On Saturday night, Shane maintained his momentum with a third overall finish.
Saturday, however, was not just about Shane, as he decided to forfeit one class so that the young Cuthbertsons, Kale and Chance, could ride the peewee and kids classes. Teaching the young of our sport has always been a priority of CGRT’s and Shane is a great role model to his own children. Showing grit and determination, Kale rode to a third place in the peewee catagory and Chance finished fourth in the kids class.
On holidays for a few days, Shane and the boys from the Corner Grass Racing Team will be competing in Couer d'Alene, July 7 and 8. Shane is proud to be supported by Husaberg Canada, A&E Racing, GoldenTyre, FMF, Omega Transport, Rebel Energy Services, FLY, Dragon, Shorai, UFA, SIDI, Warp 9, PG Graphics, ProMoto Billet, ProAction Suspension West, Kermaxx, T.M. DesignWorks, Motonation, Gamma Sales, Royal Distributing and ViSalus.
