Bluetooth innovator at Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix

Sena Technologies Inc. is set to show off innovations in motorcycle Bluetooth® communication at Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix

Sena Technologies Inc., a Bluetooth innovator in the motorcycle and outdoor activities market, is pleased to announce that it will be attending and supporting the upcoming Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California, from July 27 to 29, 2012. Throughout this premier three-day event, race fans and motorcycle enthusiasts will be able to check out Sena’s complete line of Bluetooth headset/intercom units designed specifically for motorcycle riders. The addition of a Sena headset to any helmet allows a rider to stay connected to his friends and loved ones while on the road via hands-free Bluetooth, as well as to other riders and passengers in the riding group via the unit’s intercom system. Sena invites all race-goers to visit them at the Cycle Parts West booth located in the Vendor Pavilion.

“The Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix featuring the MotoGP World Championship is one of the most visible and recognized motorcycle race events in the country,” said Marc Woo, Sena Technologies Inc. president, North and South America. “With our new products, such as the SMH5 and the soon-to-be-released SPH10H, we felt it extremely important to be in front of such an influential audience of moto-race enthusiasts.”

Attendees of the three-day event will get to try out the line of Sena Bluetooth headset/intercom systems designed for motorcycle riders for themselves. The interactive experience allows race-goers to try on a helmet outfitted with Sena headsets, see how they work, discover their ease of use, talk to a friend via intercom and more. Sena Bluetooth headset/intercom systems have become more widely used in 2011 and 2012 as even greater emphasis has been put on rider safety and the need to cut down distractions while driving. Users are able to operate nearly all of Sena’s functions with voice prompts so the rider’s hands rarely have to leave the handlebars. The headset/intercom system's easy to use jog dial also eliminate the need to search for hard-to-find and small function buttons with gloved hands.
