The 15-member Canadian off-road racing team comprised of Jared Stock, Ryan Linderman, Shelby Turner, Victoria Hett and others (you can see the full list of team members here) is in San Juan, Argentina, right now for the 89th edition of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE). The team will soon battle it out with 400 riders from 25 other countries around the world.
Team Canada has had good success at the ISDE—an event that is considered the Olympics of motorcycling. Last year, 11 of the 13 riders that had raced came home with medals—including a first-ever gold medal for the Canadian Women’s Trophy Team.
And the ISDE is no walk in the park either. It consists of six days of intense competition through some of the most challenging terrain imaginable.
The ISDE has been held at various locations throughout the world. This year, it takes place on Argentinian soil. The race begins on November 3 and runs to November 8. For updates on Team Canada, you can follow the team on Twitter and Facebook. Live results are usually posted on the ISDE website, as well.
