A community organization that provides both ground search and rescue and highway rescue, the Cranbrook SAR responds to a variety of incidents throughout the City of Cranbrook and area. Plus, it is run entirely on volunteers, who meet every Wednesday to practise and train.

“The ATV club made a decision to help the Search and Rescue group in their very important volunteer work with a donation of $500,” wrote Doug Williamson, who is president of the KRATV, in an email to RidersWest.

Kudos to the ATV club for supporting such a worthy cause and to the Cranbrook SAR for looking out for the safety and well-being of East Kootenay residents.
