In preparation for Bike Week 2013 in Daytona Beach, the Daytona Regional Chamber’s Bike Week Festival Task Force has selected the official logo design for Bike Week 2013, the World’s Largest Motorcycle Event®, to be held March 8 to 17, 2013. An integral component of the event, the official 2013 logo will be used in a variety of applications, including welcome banners, websites, motorcycle industry publication advertising and logoed merchandise, to name a few.
The 2013 logo was donated by the NSB Clothing Company and the task force wishes to thank owner Don Jones and all of his staff for their generous donation. Formed in 2001, and based in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, the NSB Clothing Company was the evolution of FireStoreOnline begun by Don in 1998. Their second location was opened in 2011 at 944 West International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach.
“This year’s design is an entirely new look and feel that we think will appeal to the hundreds of thousands of bikers who attend Bike Week in Daytona Beach each year,” said Sean Belgrade, chairman of the chamber’s Bike Week Festival Task Force Licensing Committee. “The 2013 Official Bike Week logo promises to be one of our best and most versatile designs.”
Each year, the chamber’s Bike Week Festival Task Force Licensing Committee reviews logo designs submitted by area artists and graphic designers. In addition to addressing certain requisite elements, the winning logo design must appeal to a diverse audience of bikers, vendors and marketers, and reflect the spirit and tradition of Bike Week.
“We would like to congratulate Don Jones and all at NSB Clothing Company and are equally thankful for all of those companies that submitted entries this year. The selection process was made very difficult because there were so many great designs,” added Belgrade.
