(BUSINESS WIRE)--Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE:PII) has announced it purchased the facility and paint equipment occupied by Lehman Trikes, prior to Lehman’s move to California.
The 51,000-square-foot facility in Spearfish, S.D., will provide additional liquid paint capacity for Indian and Victory motorcycles made in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Polaris will employ approximately 80 people in a two-shift operation at the facility, located at 125 Industrial Drive. Production is planned to begin in Q4 2015.
