Success for Moose in Boise, Idaho

The penultimate round of the Geico EnduroCross Series—which took place in the Idaho Center near Boise, Idaho, on October 27, 2012—provided the most technically difficult course of the season. Corner Grass Racing Team (CGRT) member Shane Cuthbertson (a.k.a. Moose) of Airdrie, Alberta, made the trek to Idaho to challenge the Open Amateur class and to qualify for the Pro class for the evening show.

Practice and qualifying went very well for Cuthbertson as he won his Open Am heat and made it through on the Pro program as well!

After a great start on his Husaberg TE 300, Cuthbertson pushed through to the finish with the win in the Open Amateur program.

Following his trip to the podium, Moose found himself crashing in his Pro heat, injuring his hand.  Besides the pain, Cuthbertson found that the injury reduced his strength and his ability to hang on. After a number of crashes, he called it a night, pulling out of the Pro class. Again, as every round of the EnduroCross Series has proven, top level pros have failed to make the main event and Boise was no different.

It has been a great year for CGRT and Husaberg, and our success continues. Our support has been tremendous and we’d like to thank these incredible companies for their products and support:
