It’s official. Red Bull Canada has just released the dates for next year’s Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour and the season opener will be in Mexico City on March 14, 2014.
The tour will then head to Osaka, Japan, and on to Madrid, Spain, and then Munich, Germany. The final stop on the tour will be Pretoria, South Africa, on August 23, 2014.
With the best freestyle motocross (FMX) athletes in the world competing, X-Fighters is an event you won’t want to miss. French FMX sensation Thomas Pagès will be back in 2014 to defend his championship title. Ready to give him a run for his money will be Dany Torres from Spain, Rob Adelberg from Australia and Taka Higashino from Japan.
X-Fighters attracts more than 200,000 spectators. The event, created in 2001, features freestyle motocross riders performing some of the gnarliest, biggest and baddest tricks, whips and flips that are humanly possible. Riders are judged on their variety, execution, style, use of the course and energy.
