The Alberta-based Corner Grass Racing Team announced on March 20, 2013, that enduro and endurocross racer Victoria Hett of Vernon, B.C., has joined the team for 2013 to compete in the Pacific Northwest Motorcycle Association (PNWMA) events in B.C. and the Royal Distributing Canadian Cross-Country Championships (CXCC). Following her successful bid to earn her second medal at the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), last September in Germany, Hett carries a tremendous amount of confidence into 2013 and will ride a Husaberg TE250 from Valley Moto Sport.
Riding his third year on the team, Kitimat, B.C.’s, Ben "The Giant Killer" Rego will once again ride a Husaberg TE300 from A&E Racing and Marine. Rego also plans to compete in the Royal Distributing CXCC.
For 2013, the team’s anchorman, Shane Cuthbertson of Airdrie, Alberta, returns to competition in Alberta on his Husaberg TE300 from A&E Racing and Marine. Cuthbertson will ride regional events in Alberta and challenge the best racers in Canada at the Alberta rounds of the CXCC.
The Corner Grass Racing Team (CGRT) also announced the continued support from Husaberg Canada for its efforts in 2013.
“It seems like yesterday that Shane and I started CGRT, and today we are announcing our sixth year of racing Husabergs!,” said team manager Lee Fryberger. “We’ve got an incredible year planned, and we are super excited to finalize the rest of our program and make the announcements.”
