If you’re a fan of Tucker Hibbert, you’ll probably want to be tuned in to FUEL TV and NBC in the afternoon of July 6, 2013. Why? It’s the RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan, and that’s when Hibbert makes his first debut of the 2013 pro motocross season. The event—which is round 7 of the AMA Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship—will mark the first of five moto events that are on Hibbert’s schedule for this summer.
Hibbert has been racing pro motocross since 2000 but he was absent from the sport for three years, due to an injury. Hibbert made his return to motocross as well as his first debut in the 450-class in 2012 at the Steel City National just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hibbert will be racing in the 450 class again this year and his goal for the season is to finish in the top 10.
In a recent press release, Hibbert said, “I’m really excited about RedBud. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to line up there and it’s one of my favourite tracks. It feels good to get back to where I used to be—spending the summer riding, racing and healthy. After three summers being injured, Steel City last year was really a test race for me. It felt good to get back into it but I didn’t do as well as I hoped. I learned a few things and this year, I’m focused on getting my results where I know they can be.”
The RedBud event will be broadcasted live on FUEL TV, NBC and online at Alli Sports.
