For quadders travelling to Mackenzie, there is an essential destination near by. Williston Lake is just a short drive away, and (once the water level has receded), riders can find ample terrain along the shorelines. Be prepared to get muddy!
There are numerous other activities one can enjoy here. Being that it is the largest man-made lake in B.C., Williston Lake has a boat launch at Mackenzie Landing Recreational Area and is popular among watersports enthusiasts, photographers, hikers, mountain bikers, RV campers and many others.
If you have more time to enjoy Mackenzie's surrounding wilderness, you can find several logging trails where ATVing is permitted, or try your hand at fishing, camping or other activities at one of the nearby provincial parks.
