Comparing year-to-year motorcycle sales from 2018 to 2019

Canada Now! has released its October retail sales report and motorcycle sales are down in Western Canada. Here’s the report:

October total motorcycle sales were up 0.56% overall in comparison to October of 2018. The charge was led by the Off Road Recreation, Mini Bike and Scooter segments with increases in excess of 60%. Unfortunately street bike sales experienced a downward trend losing over 15% in comparison to October of 2018. YTD sales for street bikes show a 7.94% loss in comparison to 2018.
