May is Motorcycle Awareness Month and with that comes a proactive message from the Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA):

“Let’s not rely on the drivers of other vehicles to be aware of us. We need to practise awareness whenever and wherever we ride.”

On its website, the CMA went on to list nine safety tips for motorcyclists—with the seventh being, “Excellent riding takes practice. Refresher rider training courses or track days are a good way to do this.”

Many riders agree that taking a motorcycle safety course in the spring helps them prepare both mentally and physically for the season ahead. And so, with that in mind, we have created a list of motorcycle training schools in Western Canada that offer everything from beginner training courses to experienced rider and refresher courses.
