Canada
Canadian Motosport Racing Corporation
The CMRC is Canada’s only national sanctioning body for amateur and professional motocross, ATV and cross-country racing across Canada. The CMRC website provides information on how you can get involved in racing, as well as details on national and regional events.
World Enduro Canada
The WEC is a promoter of off-road motorcycle racing. Its mandate is to bring professional racing in Canada up to a level that is consistent with what is realized at the World Championships. The Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship schedule, as well as schedules for the Wiesner Insurance Ontario Mini Enduro Championship and the Canadian National World Trials Championship series, can be found on the WEC’s website. Canadian Mud Racing Organization
The CMRO is a group of likelinded individuals who love nothing more than spinning their tires and getting dirty in the pits. The organization holds sanctioned mud bogs in Alberta and Saskatchewan with classes for mod and stock trucks. Canadian Watercraft Association
As the Canadian National affiliate of the International Jet Sports Boating Association, the CWA is responsible for setting the standards for annual watercraft racing series in Canada.
Western Canadian Watercross Association
The WCWA works hard to promote the sport of watercross in Alberta and Saskatchewan. It hosts an eight-round series beginning in June.
Manitoba
Manitoba Roadrace Association
The MRA holds a six-round motorcycle road racing series starting in mid-May. The series usually wraps up in mid-September and all events take place at the Gimli Motorsports Park in Gimli, Manitoba. (Read our full description of the Gimli Motorsports Park)
Manitoba Motocross Association
The MMA motocross race season usually begins in May and it runs until late September. There are usually 10 events in the MMA schedule, and these sanctioned races take place throughout Manitoba.
Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan Motosport Association
The SMA organizes a CMRC-sanctioned race series that usually begins in May. On the website, you will find a complete race schedule as well as race info and links to motocross tracks in Saskatchewan.
Saskatoon Track 'n' Trail Motocross Club
Located in Saskatoon, the Track 'n' Trail Motocross Club prides itself on having one of Canada’s best all-sand tracks, as well as an extensive trail system for dirt bike and ATV riding. (Read our full description of the Saskatoon Track 'n' Trail Motocross Club)
Regina Motocross Club
The Regina Motocross Club maintains the Regina Moto Valley Raceway, a fun hard-packed track with many man-made obstacles. The club also maintains a separate peewee track. The Regina Motocross Club frequently organizes Wednesday night rides, riding clinics and bike maintenance clinics in addition to a Saskatchewan regional race. Alberta
Alberta Dirt Riders Association
Based in Sherwood Park, Alberta, the ADRA features provincial motocross, ice racing, cross country and ATV racing in Alberta.
Alberta ATV Triple Crown
The Alberta ATV Triple Crown series consists of six rounds and each round has 15 classes for ATVs and side-by-sides. (Read our full description of the Alberta ATV Triple Crown)
Alberta Endurance Ice Racing Association
The AEIRA’s six-event race series starts in late January and runs until early March. Each race is six hours long, except for the 24-hour Numb Bum, which usually takes place at Sandy Beach, Alberta. Quad and bikes are welcome to compete. (Read our full description of the AEIRA)
Alberta Oldtimers Motocross
With a special interest in racers who are 40 years and older, the AOTMX organizes a seven-round series that takes place at different tracks throughout Alberta.
Wild Rose Motocross Association
Based in Calgary, Alberta, the WRMA maintains a beginners track, a peewee track, a mini track and several full-size motocross tracks as well as an endurocross track. A busy club, the WRMA hosts its own spring and fall super series as well as mid-week rides and the Canadian Nationals.
Edmonton Motorcycle Roadracing Association
A non-profit organization, the EMRA promotes motorcycle road racing in Alberta and Western Canada. Its member organize a race school in addition to their regular six-round race series.
Calgary Motorcycle Roadracing Association
The CMRA was formed in 1987 and it is a highly respected association that hosts its own CMRC regional racing series and the Canadian National Superbike Series. The CMRA also puts on its own race school for those who want to improve their skills.
British Columbia
British Columbia Motocross Association
The BCMA represents and promotes motorcycle racing events in Kamloops, Prince George, Terrace, Smithers, Quesnel, Ashcroft and Williams Lake, B.C.
BC Supermoto
The BCSM hosts a six-round race series that takes place at the Tradex in Abbotsford. The club welcomes new members and its website provides information on how you can get into the exciting sport of supermoto.
BC Ice Racing
Here you will find news and information about ice racing in B.C. as well as the Greater Kamloops Motorcycle Association’s Stake Lake Ice Racing Series.
Vancouver Island Motocross Association
The VIMX represents all sanctioned CMRC motocross clubs on Vancouver Island. It organizes a 16-round Island CMRC series, including three Amateur National Qualifiers, as well as riding schools, open houses and other events. (Read more about the VIMX)
Popkum Motor Park
Popkum Motor Park in Rosedale, B.C., features a small wheel track, a large track and a trail for families. The facility has played host to amateur and professional riders, such as Canadian national champion Dusty Klatt. (Read our full description of Popkum Motor Park)
Westwood Motorcycle Racing Club
Started in 1959, the WMRC promotes vintage motorcycle and superbike road racing action. All of the club’s events take place at Mission Raceway Park in Vancouver, B.C.
Pacific Northwest Motorcycle Association
The PNMA represents a collection of more than 20 road and off-road motorcycle racing clubs in B.C. and Washington. Together, they put on a comprehensive riding calendar that includes trail rides, minibike and drag racing, ice racing and other great motorcycle-related events.
